Year-end Report 2019 - Actic Group

Fourth quarter - October to December 2019
- Net Sales decreased to SEK 233,9 million (238,2), a decrease with -1,8 percent.
- EBITDA excluding the effects of IFRS 16 amounted to SEK 28,6 million (24,1), corresponding to a margin of 12,2 percent (10,1).
- EBIT amounted to SEK 0,2 million (5,6) and was impacted by non-recurring items of SEK 16 million (10).
- Net loss for the period amounted to SEK -14,0 million (-0,1).
- Earings per share before and after dilution amounted to SEK -0,88 (0,00).
Full-year 2019
- Net sales rose to SEK 952,2 million (941,2), up 1,2 percent.
- EBITDA excluding IFRS 16 amounted to SEK 107,7 million (142,2), corresponding to a margin of 11,3 percent (14,9).
- EBIT amounted to SEK-253,9 million (71,1), including impairment of goodwill and intangible fixed assets of SEK 288,9 million.
- Net loss for the period amounted to SEK -304,5 million (19,8).
- Earings per share before and after dilution amount to SEK -19,16 (1,25).
- The Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting a dividend of SEK 0.50 (0.50) per share.

Actic (formerly Nautilus Gym) was founded in 1981 and launched the Gym & Swim club concept. The company began its international expansion in 1995 and as per 31 December 2019, Actic had 180 facilities and 227,000 members in four countries. Actic's main markets are Sweden, Norway as well as Germany and Austria. Actic offers a well-established exercise method known as high-intensity training (HIT) and offers its members personal training programmes including follow-up sessions with trained instructors. Together with swimming, this forms the core of Actic's offering and differentiates us in the market.
Actic's vision is to create a healthier society by attracting a broad target group and thereby expanding the market. The facilities engage in the local community to contribute to a healthier society. Actic, which has its head office in Solna, Stockholm, has approximately 800 full-time equivalent employees and had net sales of SEK 952 million in 2019.
