Organic growth

Actic focuses on member and company sales to recruit new members.

In addition, continued rollout and expansion of new facilities in small to medium-sized cities is a cornerstone of Actic's strategy for growth and value creation, where significant potential remains in both the Nordic region and Germany.

Continued outsourcing of indoor swimming pool operations by the municipalities is a great opportunity in the future in which Actic is expected to take an active part. The outsourcing trend is expected to be driven by the municipalities' challenges in managing a small-scale operation, associated know-how, systems, safety requirements and demand for swimming schools.

In addition to the establishment of new Gym & Bad facilities, the expansion strategy focuses on strengthening Actic's local presence in line with the cluster-based strategy to expand with newly established Stand-Alone facilities. The opening of new facilities in the cluster not only increases the number of members at the specific facility, but can also attract new customers to existing facilities in the cluster as the local training offer is expanded and becomes more advantageous for existing and new members.

Omnichannel offering

By combining our physical offering with the digital, we offer training where our members are and create loyalty and new sources of income.

Actic Anywhere is Actic's digital platform for training with everything from PT-online to counseling and pre-selected training programs. So far, Actic Anywhere has had a very positive reception and we see great opportunities to further develop the offer in 2021.

Our outdoor training concept Actic Outdoor box is still popular with fully booked classes and which covers a demand for loaded training outdoors. Therefore, in the spring of 2021, Actic will increase its investment in outdoor training with Actic Outdoor Box with a further 20 locations in Sweden, one location in Norway and one location in Germany.

The above is just the beginning of a journey towards an omnichannel offer that is based on customers' changing preferences, where training for more and more people becomes a health issue that should be a natural part of life where we are in everyday life.

Scale the business

Actic has been working since 2018 with a concept to standardize gym concepts, operations and buildings. We centralize support functions that can be scaled and develop digitized solutions and self-service for the members. In this way, we achieve cost-effective operation, reduce personnel costs and create space for our staff to focus on members' training.

Acquisition

The acquisition strategy focuses partly on additional acquisitions in the form of an expansion of clusters with individual facilities in the Nordic region and Germany, and partly on strategic acquisition opportunities of primarily small to medium-sized training operators in the Nordic region.
